“Maybe the journey isn’t so much about becoming anything. Maybe it’s about un-becoming everything that isn’t really you so you can be who you were meant to be in the first place.”

— Paul Coelho

Courtney Watson, MA, LPC

Oregon Supervisor

Some things never fully leave us—grief, loss, the echoes of who we once were. I have learned this in my own life, through the ache of losing loved ones and through the quiet unraveling of an upbringing that no longer fit. These experiences taught me that healing isn’t about finding all the answers or closing every chapter. It’s about learning how to live in the in-between, how to hold what is unfinished with tenderness rather than resistance.

In therapy, I create a space where you don’t have to force resolution, where you can sit with what is still unfolding and let it breathe. Together, we will explore your story—not to rewrite the past, but to make room for the fullness of who you are becoming.

About IFS & AEDP: IFS helps us recognize and welcome every part of you—even those that feel confusing or heavy—while AEDP blends emotion, attachment, and somatic awareness to guide you through your deepest feelings. Through this work, we’ll aim to restore comfort, trust, and authenticity within yourself and in your relationships.

I also offer supervision and consultation for fellow therapists, helping to refine clinical skills, deepen understanding of trauma or grief, and navigate the practicalities of private practice.

While I bring compassion and warmth to our work, I’m also unafraid to be direct when it can illuminate new possibilities or move us closer to your goals. Whether you’re seeking personal healing, professional growth, or a safe place to sift through life’s complexities, I’m here to walk alongside you.
