“Maybe the journey isn’t so much about becoming anything. Maybe it’s about un-becoming everything that isn’t really you so you can be who you were meant to be in the first place.”

— Paul Coelho

Courtney Watson, MA, LPC

Oregon Supervisor

My own journey has taught me that life rarely unfolds as we expect. Having lost close family members both early and recently in my life, I know that grief is not a problem to fix but a long-term companion to understand. Together, we will create a space where your sorrow can breathe, your memories can be honored, and your love for those you’ve lost can endure.

Stepping away from a high-control religious upbringing taught me the value of questioning old truths and making room for the unexpected. In therapy, I draw on that experience to foster a space where you can explore your own story, challenge ingrained assumptions, and shape a path that feels genuine and right for you.

I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) to support your inner healing. IFS helps us recognize and welcome every part of you—even those that feel confusing or heavy—while AEDP blends emotion, attachment, and somatic awareness to guide you through your deepest feelings. Through this work, we’ll aim to restore comfort, trust, and authenticity within yourself and in your relationships.

I can provide ADHD & Autism assessments to clients who are looking for personal confirmation of their neurodivergence (if you are wanting to apply for disability, you need to see a psychiatrist or psychologist for neuropsych testing). I have specific training in this area, have done research, and am neurodivergent myself (ADHD-C).

I also offer supervision and consultation for fellow therapists, helping them refine clinical skills, deepen their understanding of trauma or grief, and navigate the practicalities of private practice.

While I bring compassion and warmth to our work, I’m also unafraid to be direct when it can illuminate new possibilities or move us closer to your goals. Whether you’re seeking personal healing, professional growth, or a safe place to sift through life’s complexities, I’m here to walk alongside you.
